Your Privacy
Some decisions shouldn't be made alone. But your private reflections belong to you.
Train Ride to Decision was made to be a safe place to think, to reflect, and to sit with what you're carrying. We collect only what's needed to give you that experience, to remember where you left off, and to let you return to it.
What you write here is meant for you.
The short version
What you write is yours. We ask for as little as we can. There is no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking anywhere in this app.
What we collect
When you sign in, we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we may also receive a profile picture from them.
As you use the app, we hold what you choose to write: your journal entries, prayer entries, journey answers, and any messages you leave for your future self.
You can use much of the app without signing in at all.
Where your writing lives
Before you sign in, everything you write stays in your own browser's storage on this device. It isn't sent anywhere.
When you sign in, your writing is carried to your account so it can follow you between devices and be there when you come back.
Who can see it
Your writing is private. Train Ride to Decision is designed so your personal reflections are for you. Each entry, journey, and message is tied to your account and readable only by you, and administrators do not routinely access or read your journal entries as part of providing the service.
The administration side of the app manages the shared content you see — scriptures, books, events, reflections — and does not include any view of members' journals, journeys, or messages.
Messages to your future self
If you leave yourself a message for 30, 60, or 90 days from now, we store it until that day arrives. When it comes due, an automated system reads the message in order to send it to your email address. Those emails come from journey@loveenduresall.com.
Events
If you join a journey through an event link or boarding pass, the only thing recorded is a timestamp — no name, no email, and none of your answers. Event summaries a facilitator can see are counts only, and are anonymous.
Cookies and storage
We use only what the app needs in order to work:
- A sign-in session, so you stay signed in between visits.
- Local storage on your device, which holds your writing and journeys.
- Small preference settings, such as whether ambient sound is on.
There are no advertising cookies, no analytics, and no third-party tracking scripts. If that ever changes, we'll ask you first.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you're in the EU or the UK, these are your rights under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Deleting your writing
You can delete any journal entry, prayer entry, or scheduled message from inside the app. Deleting an entry removes it from your account as well as this device.
If you'd like your whole account and everything in it removed, write to the address below and we'll take care of it.
Children
Train Ride to Decision is intended for adults. If you're a facilitator running an event with younger participants, please use the anonymous event links, which record nothing personal.
