What we owe each other.

What this is
Train Ride to Decision is a guided reflection framework. It offers questions, prompts, scripture, and a private place to write. It is offered as-is, for personal reflection and for facilitated group work.
What this is not
This is not therapy or counseling, not a substitute for professional mental health care, and not crisis intervention. It does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or clinical advice, and it does not diagnose anything.
Nothing here creates a therapeutic, clinical, pastoral, or professional relationship between you and us. Decisions you make remain yours.
If you are in crisis, please use the resources on our care page or call your local emergency number.
Your account and your words
You need to be 16 or older to create an account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. What you write belongs to you — we don't publish it, sell it, train on it, or show it to anyone else. See the privacy policy for the details.
If you use the app without an account, your writing stays in that browser only. Clearing your browser data will remove it, and we cannot recover it.
Using it with other people
Pastors, therapists, social workers, coaches, chaplains, and group leaders are welcome to use this framework in their work. If you do, you remain fully responsible for your own professional obligations: your licensure, your ethics code, your scope of practice, your duty of care, your consent process, and your records.
The facilitator materials are guidance for hospitality, not clinical protocol, and using them does not certify, endorse, supervise, or qualify anyone.
What we ask
Don't use the app to harm others, to impersonate someone, to break the law, or to attempt to reach other people's private writing. Don't scrape or resell the content. We may suspend accounts that do.
Content and ownership
Your writing is yours. The app itself — its text, design, prompts, guides, audio, and imagery — belongs to Train Ride to Decision and may not be republished or resold without permission. You're welcome to print the guides for use in your own rooms.
Availability and changes
This is a small, lovingly maintained app, not a utility. It may occasionally be unavailable, and features may change. We'll give notice of significant changes to these terms on this page, and update the date at the top.
Limits
To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for decisions made, outcomes experienced, or data lost while using it. Some jurisdictions don't allow those limits, in which case they apply only as far as they legally can.
Reaching us
Questions about these terms belong on the contact page. We read everything.
